    Cleaning and maintenance product for floors finished with Treatex Hardwax Oil. When your floor looks dull, clean using Treatex Floor Care, which contains vegetable oils and carnauba wax. As the surface is cleaned a thin replenishing and protective layer of wax is also applied. Dilute 25-50 ml of Treatex Floor Care in 5 litres of water. Mop the surface with this solution or use a slow buffing machine with a white pad ensuring that the mop is only damp and never wet.

Due to popular demand Treatex Floor Care is available in a convenient ready diluted spray, which is designed to quickly clean and maintain floors treated with Treatex Hardwax Oil without turning the surface slippery. Spray surface lightly with Treatex Spray On Floor Care taking care not to soak the floor. Use a cloth, mop or slow buffing machine with a white pad to clean the floor.

    For high traffic floors Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear can be mixed in the ratio 10:1 to Treatex Hardener to increase the mechanical resistance of the finished surface. Treatex Hardener can be used in one or both coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear. Adding Treatex Hardener to Treatex Hardwax Oil starts a chemical reaction which can’t be stopped, the mixture will set in the tin even with the lid on! The mixture remains usable for up to three hours, so only mix enough for one coat at a time.

    Available in three different sheen levels Matt (least shiny), Satin or Gloss (most shiny). Apply two coats with a brush or roller. For oily or dense timbers thin the first coat by mixing in 10% Treatex Thinner (Isoparaffin). Treatex Hardener can be added to Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear to increase the mechanical resistance of the finished surface. One coat of Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural or Treatex Colour Tone can be applied underneath Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear.

    Wood doesn’t always match the other colours in our home. Don’t fret, change the colour of interior timbers with our range of colour tones. Brush or roller on one coat to unfinished timber. Remove any excess product immediately with a lint free cloth. Allow to dry then seal with two coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear, or for a whiter white seal Spruce with Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural. Different timbers will take colours differently, we advise to do a sample before finishing the whole area. All Treatex Colour Tones can be mixed.

    Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural can be used in two different way
    Quick Overview

    Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural can be used in two different ways:
    1) as a base coat which is designed to neutralise the colour change caused by applying Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear. To change the appearance of light coloured timbers such as oak as little as possible, brush (not roller) on a thin coat of Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural on to unfinished timber, before sealing with clear Treatex Hardwax Oil. Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural should not be used as a base coat on darker coloured timbers.

    2) as a top coat on top of our Spruce Colour Tone. For a whiter white seal our Spruce Colour Tone with two coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural.
